Distinguish Method For Glass Moldy

Glass moldy is a difficult problem in glass industry. Every spring and summer, moldy glass has entered to peak due to the weather of high temperature and high humidity. So done the mildew working of glass well has been primary task to many glass companies.

The most simple method to check whether the glass is moldy or not is  exterior morphology method. Under the strong sunlight, put the sample in the reflected light and transmitted light, while observing the glass surface.If the sample has been moldy, we will find that spots and fog on the glass surface and could not been wiped off with water or cloth. The more spots or fog, the more serious moldy.

White mist or white spots on the glass surface means it has the most slight moldy because of glass quality problem, storage time or air humidity. If there is rainbow on the glass surface, at this time the moldy only stay on the surface of glass, but not corrosion to the glass. The appearance of glass mold is same as slight moldy. But basic mold components have corrosion to the glass. It belongs to serious mold.
